POLICE on Shetland have recovered heroin with a street value of more than £140,000 in a Hogmanay raid
The illegal drugs were seized by officers from Northern Constabulary in an operation on the islands on Monday.

Hide AdA force spokesman said: “Three men from Glasgow, aged 24, 30 and 33 were detained in Police custody under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1979. A report has been made to the Procurator Fiscal.”
He added: “The men are expected to appear in Lerwick Sheriff Court from custody today.”
