Funding nurses
In view of this experience, I am angered by the constant denial by Scottish ministers, Shona Robinson and Maureen Watts, that there is any crisis in the Scottish Health Service.
I have been particularly incensed to read that when money is in such short supply, the Scottish Government has no compunction in handing over a grant of £150,000 to the profitable organisers of the T in the Park Festival.
Surely, this amount of money could have been better spent funding three extra nursing posts for a year.
