LIVINGSTON football bosses today said they were "disappointed" with a club lottery organiser who rigged a draw to claim the £7000 prize money for his wife.
Raymond Ballantyne, 55, fiddled the results of the draw for the biggest pot in the club's history last June. Ballantyne was handed a six-month electronic tagging order at Linlithgow Sheriff Court last week.
Livingston's commercial director Charles Burnett was reported as saying: "We had a system in place so that the draw could be independently checked and we were quickly able to discover that something was wrong."
