Man reported over Aberdeenshire hen harrier death

The 58 year old man from Aberdeenshire is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said today: “A 58-year-old man from Aberdeenshire has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in relation to wildlife crime following the death of a bird of prey in the Huntly area in June 2013 and is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.”
She added: “Police Scotland is committed to tackling wildlife crime and eradicating illegal practices such as this and is encouraging members of the public to contact them if they have information.”
