Police seize £150,000 of drugs in Motherwell

Police have seized drugs with a street value of around £150,000 after an operation in Motherwell.
Officers stopped and searched a car in Jerviston Street in the North Lanarkshire town at around 3.30pm on Friday, and found drugs believed to be heroin worth £150,000.
A 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with the seizure.

Hide AdOfficers also searched a house in the same street, and a property in Langa Street, Glasgow, in connection with the same operation.
A quantity of cash was recovered and a second 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with alleged drugs offences.
