HIGHLANDS yard to build feed barge and mooring system.
Scottish Sea Farms has agreed a contract, worth almost £1 million, with Gael Force Group for a new feed barge and mooring system. The deal will help support some 30 jobs at the Inverness barge building yard. The feed barge is destined for Scottish Sea Farms’ Orkney region and will be located at the new Westerbister site by September. It forms part of a major investment programme by Scottish Sea Farms which operates in Argyll, the Highlands, Orkney and Shetland.
