Heston Blumenthal glasses boost Vision Express

The firm said the chef’s “signature eyewear collection” had delivered the most successful product launch in its history after hitting the shelves last week.
It marks the latest addition to a portfolio of more than 100 designer brands offered by the firm, which has 327 wholly-owned and joint venture stores across the UK and Ireland.

Hide AdNews of the launch came as Vision Express flagged a second successive year of sales and profit growth. It said operating profit across the group had risen by 6 per cent last year to £16.4 million.
The company opened just one store in 2012 but said it had already added two so far this year, in Hempstead Valley and the recently-opened Leeds Trinity shopping centre.
Chief executive Jonathan Lawson said: “I am very satisfied with our results. There is still much to do.”
