Gordon Brand Jnr has to settle for second again
The former Ryder Cup player, beaten to the Casa Serena title in the Czech Republic last month, closed with a two-over 74 for a seven-under 209.
Brand Jnr, a winner on the over-50s circuit in Jersey earlier this season, finished two shots behind Frenchman Marc Farry, who claimed his second win of the year with a 73 for 207. Brand Jnr picked up 22,300 to move up to third on the order of merit and keep his hopes of landing the rankings crown alive with just three events left. Sam Torrance signed off with a 70 and shared 10th with a 214.
