Rossiter in talks over loan deal
Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter is in talks with several clubs as Steven Gerrard attempts to secure a loan move for the 21-year-old.
The former Liverpool player was restricted to 11 appearances in his first two seasons at Ibrox amid a string of injury problems, and has only played five times since Gerrard arrived.

“He has missed a lot of football so I’m hoping to find the right solution for Jordan to get more game time. That could be announced in the coming days. I don’t expect anyone else to go anywhere.”
Polster latest
Steven Gerrard is confident a deal to sign American midfielder Matt Polster from Chicago Fire will be completed before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
“That could be announced at any time,” he said ahead of his side’s William Hill Scottish Cup clash at Cowdenbeath on Wednesday. “He has travelled to France to get the work permit application complete. We are confident that one will happen.”
Kamara / Jones situation
Gerrard does not expect pre-contract signings Jordan Jones and Glen Kamara to arrive this month.
Kilmarnock have no intention of selling Jones but Dundee are keen to hasten Kamara’s departure for a fee.
Gerrard said: “Where we sit right here, we assume that Glen and Jordan will join us next season.”
Galatasaray eye Morelos
Galatasaray have been linked with a move for striker Alfredo Morelos. The Turkish Super Lig outfit have reportedly tabled an offer for the Colombian forward.

Pena gone?
Reports in Mexico suggest Carlos Pena’s time at Ibrox could be brought to an end this month.
Vanguardia claims that Rangers will terminate the 28-year-old’s contract, following two failed loan moves, and are understood to be keen on cutting their losses on the £2.2 million signing who netted five in 14 for the Light Blues.
