“We’ll just keep plugging away. We believe in what we’re doing and the way we’re going about our work has, in the main, been in the right way, so we’ll just continue to do that.
“There are a lot of games we’ve drawn at Anfield that maybe we could have won. We’re not too far away.” Dutch striker Dirk Kuyt, whose goal in the 3-0 win over Wolves last midweek was his 50th league strike for Liverpool, admitted he has found his infrequent appearances tough this season, but he has remained professional and is finally starting to get the rewards.
“It’s great to achieve 50 goals for this club in the Premier League,” he told liverpoolfc.tv. “Not many people have done that at this club and also from my country not many people have done that, so to reach that target is great.”
