Euro 2012: Ray Clemence is added to injury list
The former keeper, a long-standing member of the England backroom team, had to be carried off after snapping his Achilles tendon in the pre-match warm-up.
With the aid of crutches, the 63-year-old was able to watch last night’s 1-1 draw with France at the Donbass Arena.

“He’s in an awful lot of pain and has to go back to England for an operation.”
Hodgson lost four of his original 23-man squad to injury, with Gareth Barry (groin), Frank Lampard (thigh), John Ruddy (broken finger) and Gary Cahill (fractured jaw) all ruled out before his squad flew to their Krakow base last Wednesday.
