David Moyes still on Fabregas trail
United have failed with two bids for the former Arsenal player, the latest of which was reported to be £30 million plus add-ons.
But Moyes has confirmed he is still targeting the 26-year-old Spain internationalist and is keen to make him his first addition since taking over as manager from Sir Alex Ferguson at the start of the month.

Hide AdHe told a news conference in Osaka that “things are ongoing”.
Moyes also confirmed that striker Robin van Persie has shaken off a thigh injury in time to play in United’s next tour match against Cerezo Osaka today.
Fellow striker Wayne Rooney has also rejoined the squad in Japan and the 27-year-old’s hamstring injury is said to be “on the mend”.
