Woman trapped under bus in Glasgow city centre

A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after she was hit by a bus and trapped under the vehicle in Glasgow city centre.
Police received reports of a woman being involved in an accident with a single-decker bus at the junction of Argyle Street and Queen Street around 11.30am on Thursday.
A police spokeswoman confirmed the road had been shut following the incident.

Hide AdShe added: “Around 11.30am police received a report of a woman having been struck by a bus on the corner of Argyle Street at its junction with Queen Street.
“An ambulance and the fire service are in attendance.”
