£10m homes plan boosts Craigmillar regeneration
Council chiefs have reached agreement to sell their "Wauchope 2B" site to Cruden Homes. A total of 93 homes will be built as part of the 10 million development, with work due to start next month.
The site was originally due to be developed by the city's "arms length" developer Parc, which had to be bailed out by the council because of the impact of the economic downturn.

"Parc is increasingly acting as a facilitator for private-sector developers rather than directly delivering sites itself."
