Marathon man Mark reaches halfway point in challenge
Mark Cooper, 27, from Mountcastle, is running 1,300 miles from Amsterdam to Barcelona to raise money for head injuries charity Headway Edinburgh.
He is completing the challenge in memory of his mother Sheila, who died of a brain haemorrhage when he was just 14.

Hide AdMr Cooper set off on 1 May and has completed 25 marathons. Speaking from Burgundy, he said: "It's going brilliantly. I had to see a physio in Eindhoven because I had a lot of problems with the tendon at the front of my left ankle, but since then I've had no problems whatsoever."
