US missiles kill 17 at Taleban bases

US MISSILES struck a training facility operated by Pakistani Taleban leader Baitullah Mehsud and a militant communication centre yesterday, killing 17 people, intelligence officials said.
The drone aircraft attacks took place in South Waziristan, near the Afghan border.
