AGENTS have been appointed to find a leading drinks company a new home in the Capital.

The Glenmorangie Company last month announced it is to relocate its headquarters from Broxburn, West Lothian, to Edinburgh. It is also looking to build a new bottling plant in the Lothians.

Now it has appointed property agent James Barr to find a site for the new HQ. The company will be responsible for finding the location, then planning, designing and fitting out the space.

Blyth & Blyth has been appointed to design and manage the building of the bottling facility.

Eric Forgie, chief executive of James Barr, said: "Our aim is to deliver a prestigious HQ office which is worthy of the luxury brand Glenmorangie has established."

The Glenmorangie brand is outpacing the overall category growth for single malt whiskies.
