Video: War Horse star ‘Joey’ visits The Scotsman

Waiting for Video...

JOEY, star of the National Theatre’s War Horse, visited The Scotsman offices today to help promote special screenings of the sell-out production which will be shown in Edinburgh later this month.

The production, currently being performed at Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre, has taken over £2 million thanks in part to the puppet, which stands 17 hands high and is operated by two people.

Accompanying Joey were Lee Armstrong, who plays the role of Albert in the show, and Finn Hanlon as Lieutenant Nicholls.

On February 27th, National Theatre Live will show the London West End production in cinemas across Edinburgh, including the Vue at Ocean Terminal, the Wester Hailes Odeon, The Cameo, and the Odeon on Lothian Road.

War Horse is at the Festival Theatre until February 1th. Returns only.
