LILY Allen turned down a cameo appearance in hit TV show Game of Thrones - because it involved getting a bit too close to her real-life brother.

The singer’s sibling Alfie plays Theon Greyjoy in the fantasy series, but revealed during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Reddit that she had been approached about playing princess Yara Greyjoy, but turned it down.

She said: “I’ve been asked to do a Game of Thrones cameo, they asked me if I’d be interested in playing Theon’s sister, and I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and ****.

“Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks.”

In the series, Theon ‘gropes’ Yara while they are both on horseback, before realising she is his sister.

But Allen paid tribute to her brother, saying she was proud of the ‘gifted’ actor.

The singer, who released new album Sheezus earlier this month, admitted that she would consider another role in the programme if offered, adding: “I would be open to doing a musical cameo like Sigur Ros”.
