Hunt for railway vandal

POLICE are hunting a youth who threw a fire extinguisher on to a railway line.
The extinguisher was tossed on to the line at Sutherland Way, Livingston, at around 8pm on Tuesday.

British Transport Police were called to the scene to locate the object and remove it.

A police spokesman appealed for information on the incident.
