Driver dies in road horror

A LIVINGSTON man has died after a road accident involving a car and a lorry in West Lothian.
The collision between a Renault 370 lorry and a Renault Clio happened at about 4.10pm on Tuesday on the A904 a mile west of Newton Village.

The 63-year-old driver of the Renault Clio died from his injuries.

A 44-year-old male passenger was taken to Stirling Infirmary with rib injuries.

Following the accident, the road was closed to westbound traffic at its junction with the A846.

It was also closed at its junction with the B8046.

A 52-year-old man is due to appear at Linlithgow Sheriff Court in relation to the incident.
