A NEW centre for the creative industries in West Lothian has been officially opened.
Culture Minister Linda Fabiani opened Blackburn House, which has undergone a £3.6 million, ten-year restoration project.
The Georgian mansion, which dates back to 1772 but had been neglected for decades, has been given a new lease of life.
Not only will offices house local arts projects, but there will also be onsite accommodation for anyone undertaking lengthy projects.
The 9000sg ft building, which lies between Livingston and Blackburn, will also contain digital media suites and recording studios.
