Armed robber strikes at shop

AN armed robber brandished a knife at a shop worker who refused to hand over any cash.
The man struck at the Day Today store in Stoneyburn, West Lothian, at about 11am on Sunday.

The robber asked to buy an item before pulling out the knife and demanding money.

But after being refused, the man fled empty-handed.

He was described as 30 to 35-years-old, 6ft, of medium build, with short black hair. He was wearing a dark brown jacket with brown/black jeans and had a local accent.
