Advice looks to bin fires

ADVICE on preventing wheelie bin fires will be issued to West Lothian residents ahead of Bonfire Night.
West Lothian Council is working in partnership with Lothian and Borders Police and Fire Services to try and combat the increasing number of wheelie bin fires that occur during annual the firework season.

Residents are advised to only leave bins out for as short a time as possible and to try and store them in a locked garage or out of sight.
