A CANDIDATE to become vice president of the US is to speak in Edinburgh today.
Socialist Workers' US vice-presidential candidate Alyson Kennedy – a former coal miner – will appear at the Meadow Bar on Buccleuch Street at 7pm.

Alyson Kennedy is a Member of the American Communist Party. She has no chance of ever being elected to anything in America unless the job of picking up road kill becomes an elected position. Even then....
