Terrorists 'not mad and bad'

BRITISH security chiefs have warned potential terrorists in the UK do not fit the the stereotype of "mad and bad" religious extremists or illegal immigrants.
A leaked MI5 study of known and suspected extremists found the vast majority were British nationals or in the country legally – half born here, most had little religious awareness and were not prone to mental health problems. Radical clerics were also playing less of a role in radicalising future terrorists.
