Services '6,000 understrength'

THE armed forces are facing a shortfall of almost 6,000 soldiers, sailors and aircrew, according to official MoD figures published yesterday.
The latest quarterly figures show the number of full-time, trained military personnel was 173,370 – 5,790 short of the requirement of 179,160. The army had a 3,500 shortfall, the Royal Navy was 1,220 under strength and the RAF was 1,070 below target.

Empty 6,000 criminals out of jail and enlist them in Penal Battalions. Other left wing countries did it, isn't that who Nu-Labour mould themselves on?
Why would 6,000 supposedly sane individuals sign up to be treated like lepers by the government?
#1 Wait until the 6,000 and many more are required to serve in UK to fight............Couldn't happen, what odds are you giving?
