One in seven in UK has been bullied at work

ONE in seven people has been bullied at work, with higher paid staff most likely to have problems, according to new research.
A study by the TUC showed that workers in the public sector suffered more bullying than those in private firms.

Men were more likely than women to be bullied, while the biggest problems were among people aged between 45 and 54.

People don't know what true bullying is nowadays.

Some of them need to get a sense of humour and lighten up rather than trying to make everyone around them walk on eggshells.

No. I don't dish bullying out, but the fact that you think I might tends to suggest that my sentiments are not mis-placed.

Yes, I can sometimes be quite cutting and have been known to wind people up on many occasions. However, I am also aware enough to realise when enough is enough and would never take things to the point where people start getting genuinely offended.

Some people's threshold of offence is particularly low, which means I do not target my comments etc at them---which in turn means they get left out of the fun---which in turn means that they get offended anyway, so I can't win---and I don't bother trying.

BTW: I can take it as well as give it out.
