DRIVERS born under the star sign Aries – the ram – have the most car crashes, according to new research.
A survey of more than 70,000 crash claims over the past five years showed a statistical link between star signs and the likelihood of being in a road accident.

Drivers born under Aries – 21 March to 20 April – are responsible for nearly 9 per cent of road accidents. Co-operative Insurance, which conducted the study, said the typical "me first" attitude of many Arians could contribute to dangerous impulsiveness on the road.

Next on the list were drivers born under Gemini, (22 May-21 June, then Taurans (21 April-21 May).

Sagittarians, Scorpios and Librans notched up the lowest number of crashes.
