West Lothian Answer by 2013

A commission to resolve the so-called West Lothian Question will start work in February, the government confirmed last night.

Cabinet Office Minister Mark Harper said the commission would then report by the end of the next Parliamentary session, in the spring of 2013.

In response to a written question, Mr Harper said work had been on-going since the government’s last announcement on the issue in September.

He told MPs: “We have been in consultation with House authorities on how the commission can best address the relevant issues.

“It is my intention for the commission to start work in February 2012 to report by the end of the next session, in spring 2013.

UIB: "Rufus, Andy, In house - a little prosaic and desperate."------------------How about this correction to add even more factual basis to the statement: Rufus, Andy, In house - a little "prozac" and desperate." ??

29. Rufus, Andy, In house - a little prosaic and desperate. Anyone loking at the posting times on this will notice only a few posts all day then a sudden flurry. Desperation has a nasty whiff!

I feel I have encouraged people on here and in real life to be more considering of a Sotland not bogged down by the desperation of the hopeless "union"...............,people in Scotland have voted for my preferred party in droves, elevating them to an unprecedented mandate to govern in the Scottish Parliament..................seems that the resident unionists are like their rubbish bosses and continue to see failure as a reason to continue on the dame negative chirade that has so failed them and ruined their hold on Scotland..........

Posts 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 - do you think it is a good thing to post 5 times, to yourself? It looks like a little odd, and needy. Some would call this 5 post mentalism? We defenders of the Union must not look so needy. You must restrain yourself, and not post to and of yourself, even if you see a typo that you think will collapse the SNP. We will defeat the SNP, by way of our posts here becaue we post all day, but not if we look as needy and sad as posts 21-25!

21 - Why do you bother changing monikers? Your same old tired, unfunny act is the same regardless of your moniker.

20. Tibbles. Well done! You have holed the independence case beneath the water-line with your observations on spelling, yet again! I cannot now see a case for further devolution while these anti-UK agitators stand exposed by you of unfamiliarity with spell-check! I also cannot see why you are not invited to more dinner parties and social gatherings with such a rapier and amusing wit! Still, the loss to Scottish intellectual society that is your restriction on leaving the house as you are busy here is the Unions gain! I well recall the reaction to your lonely posting just after the bells on Hogmanay and the assumption that you were either very sad, lonely, a computer programme or a cleaner at the Scotsman! Well, those people who laughed at you then are laughing on the other side of their faces now, I can tell you.
