A widow shed tears as her late husband was awarded the George Medal by the Queen yesterday for preventing a massacre on a nuclear submarine.

Lieutenant Commander Ian Molyneux, 36, right, attempted to tackle Able Seaman Ryan Donovan as he ran amok on HMS Astute while it was docked in Southampton on 8 April last year.
