Girl, 16, punched in unprovoked attack

A MAN who punched a 16-year-old girl to the ground in an apparently random attack has admitted an assault charge, Scotland Yard said.

Michael Ayoade, 34, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court yesterday and pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The girl was walking along High Street, Plaistow, east London when he jogged up and punched her in the head.
