Bus staff to strike on eve of Games

London bus workers are to stage two fresh strikes in a dispute over an Olympics bonus, including a walk-out just days before the Games start.

The Unite union said its members will follow last Friday’s strike with one on Thursday, 5 July, and another on Tuesday, 24 July, three days ahead of the official opening of the sporting event.
