Woman is injured in head–on crash

A PASSENGER has been seriously injured after the car she was travelling in was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle.

The 43-year-old woman was taken to Ayr Hospital after the crash on the A713, on Saturday, at 3:45pm, which was closed for seven hours. Three other people suffered less serious injuries in the incident.
