ScotRail calls time on drinking alcohol

Passengers are no longer allowed to drink alcohol late at night or early in the morning on most Scottish trains.

ScotRail, which runs 95 per cent of trains, has banned drinking or visibly carrying alcohol between 9pm and 10am. It said staff would use “common sense” in enforcing the ban.
