Andy Murray is still long odds on for slam

ANDY MURRAY is still long odds on to end his career with a Grand Slam title and just 5-1 to win Gold at the Olympics despite losing a fourth Grand Slam Final at Wimbledon on Sunday.

McBookie.com make Murray 1-4 to win a Grand Slam title during his career and 11-4 to end it without one. Spokesman Paul Petrie said: “Our odds demonstrate that we still believe in Murray despite a fourth defeat in a Grand Slam Final and fully expect him to find that elusive first Slam. He is 2-1 to win a Slam in 2013 and 5-1 to do it this year at the US Open.”

Murrayis 4-1 to win the gold medal at London 2012 with William Hill and and 5/1 to win the final Slam of 2012 in the USA.
