SPL Fanzone: Inverness Caledonian Thistle

SATURDAY’S performance against Celtic was better than the cup tie and it’s unfortunate that we came away from Parkhead with no reward.

In a game that wasn’t helped by some very dodgy decisions for both sides, a single-goal defeat away from home against, arguably, the best team in the country and without our two best central defenders and our two best strikers is a pretty good achievement. It would have been nice to get a draw but this weekend, we feel, is much more important. A win against Dunfermline will put us right in the mix for the top six whilst a loss would give the Pars some hope. But before taking them on we need to spend a week having shooting practice because that’s three games now where we’ve failed to score. We create chances but never seem to have the confidence to pull the trigger.
