Corsar’s return boosts Aberdeen’s prospects

ABERDEEN Grammar have been given a boost ahead of the upcoming RBS Premier League campaign with the news that former Scotland A cap Stuart Corsar has returned to Rubislaw.

The 28-year-old prop is from Inverurie originally and started his rugby career at Garioch. He then played for Grammar and Scotland at age-grade level before he was handed a pro chance with Glasgow Warriors.

He has since played for Rotherham Titans and Doncaster Knights and earned Scotland A honours, but has now returned north as Grammar’s club development officer.

Corsar will combine this role with playing and said: “I have been down south for a few years and enjoyed my time there, but when the chance came to come back up north I was delighted with that.

“I see a lot of potential in the Grammar squad from a playing point of view while I am excited to get out and about in the local area and develop rugby up here.”
