WALLABIES fly-half Quade Cooper has incurred the wrath of Australian Rugby Union chief Bill Pulver for taking up boxing while still playing rugby.

Cooper won his first professional fight with a knockout of an insurance company agent earlier this month, a week before his Super Rugby season-opener for Queensland Reds. “Do I like the fact one of our Super Rugby players had a boxing match the week before the first game? In all honesty, no, not particularly,” said Pulver. Former All Black Sonny Bill Williams also took up boxing.
