Hockey: Clydesdale a tricky trip for Grange
GRANGE open their account in the Presidents Cup with a tough trip to Clydesdale – a re-run of the final the last time this tournament was staged a couple of years ago when the Titwood outfit triumphed 3-2.
Grange skipper Rob Barr said: “Clydesdale always provide us with a tough game so it will be a good test to see where we are after our pre-season training and what we need to work on for the start of the league season and the EuroLeague.”
Elsewhere, Watsonians travel to face Western Wildcats while Inverleith head north to take on newly-promoted AAM Gordonians.
Inverleith start their life in the women’s top flight with a testing away clash with Milne Craig Western, with champions Grove hosting Giffnock and Western Wildcats at home to VWS Dundee Wanderers.
