Senior British Women’s Open Amateur: Top 20 finish for De Vries

Fiona De Vries (St Regulus) and Kathleen Sutherland (Royal Montrose) finished joint 15th and 26th respectively in the Senior British women’s open amateur championship which ended on a wet and windy day at Hunstanton links on the Norfolk coast.

Katherine Russell from Royal Ashdown Forest GC, Sussex beat Ireland’s Pat Doran in a sudden-death play-off for the title.
