Kellett in tune at Saint Saens with finishing 68

ALPS TOUR: Motherwell’s Ross Kellett shot a final round of three-under-par 68 to pull himself up into joint 13th position on four-under-par 280 in the weekend’s Alps Tour event, the Open International de Normandie at Golf de Saint Saens in France.

Kellett earned e895 for his effort which saw him finish 14 shots behind the winner, Frenchman Nicolas Joakmides. He will be rueing two double bogeys in his second-round 71, which undoubtedly cost him another top ten finish, of which he has had quite a few this season.

Joakmides, whose first-round 64 set him up for his success, finished one shot ahead of compatriot Thomas Linard and Northern Irishman Gareth Shaw.
