FOOTBALL: Balerno High School has won the latest Lloyds TSB Scotland School of the Month Award.

FOOTBALL: Balerno High School has won the latest Lloyds TSB Scotland School of the Month Award.

The award, presented by Val McMurtie, Customer Services Manager Lloyds TSB Scotland Corstorphine branch, was given in recognition of Calum Crane and Chris Hendrie’s selection in the Lloyds TSB Scotland Scottish Schools Under-18 squad.

Ms McMurtie. “Calum and Chris are the only players from Edinburgh to be selected in this season’s U18 Scotland squad, so it’s a fantastic achievement.”

Steven Russell, football co-ordinator at Balerno High School, said: “I’m proud that the efforts of two of our senior players have been recognised 
with a call up to the under-18 Scotland squad. The boys are a credit to the school.”
