Woman’s river death ‘not suspicious’

The death of a woman found in the River Clyde at the weekend is not thought to be suspicious, police said.

The body of 23-year-old
Victoria Sloss, from Glasgow, was discovered near Napier Drive, Govan, on Saturday
morning.

Following a post-mortem examination, her death is not thought to have involved foul play, Strathclyde Police said. However, officers are still keen to establish her movements before her body was found.

It is known that Ms Sloss got out of a silver taxi in Seaward Street at about 4:30am on
Friday.

She is described as being around 5ft 6in tall with a slim build and very long brown hair. She was wearing a white T-shirt, maroon jumper, blue legging jeans and knee-high beige Ugg boots.
