Tree feller dies in work accident
A 59-YEAR-OLD man has died while felling trees at work.
Ewen MacGregor sustained fatal injuries when he was in an accident involving a large vehicle used to remove timber.
The accident happened at Brig o’ Turk in Callander, Stirlingshire at around 4:30pm on Wednesday.
Police said Mr MacGregor, from Strathyre, died at the scene. Central Scotland Police and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating what happened.
