Man arrested over death
A MAN has been arrested in connection with the death of an elderly woman last month.
Kathleen Milward, 87, was found dead at her home in Brodie Place in Stonehouse, Lanarkshire, at about 8:30pm on Wednesday, 3 January.
Strathclyde Police said that a 40-year-old man has been arrested and detained in police custody in connection with the death.
A report into the incident will be submitted to the procurator-fiscal.
The man is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
