Lifeline bid for Glasgow sausage factory

A GROUP is being set up to save a sausage factory which employs 200 people. Staff at Freshlink Foods in Shettleston, Glasgow, were told on 22 June that the company was in a 90-day consultation period.

Enterprise minister Fergus Ewing MSP met union representatives and local Labour MSP Drew Smith yesterday. He will head a group to help secure the future for workers.
