KIM Wilde has become an unlikely internet sensation after a video of her serenading commuters on a train with a version of her hit Kids in America following a “night out on the tiles” went viral.

The singer, who scored a number two hit with the song in 1981, was filmed singing to passengers accompanied on guitar by her brother Ricky as they went home from a Christmas party.

The clip of the star, who was wearing a pair of comedy reindeer antlers, was so popular she started trending on Twitter as thousands of people watched the film.

Wilde, the daughter of 1950s’ rocker Marty, tweeted: “Truly, I am overwhelmed and confused at such a huge reaction to my night out on the tiles. Making me giggle a LOT.”
