Horror find in flat sparks police hunt

A MURDER inquiry has been launched after a man’s body was found in a city flat.

The body of Paul Cunningham, 35, was discovered at his home in Aberdour Street in Dennistoun, Glasgow, on Monday evening.

Strathclyde Police are treating his death as murder following a post-mortem examination.

Officers are now trying to piece together Mr Cunningham’s last movements.

Detective Chief Inspector Colin Carey said: “Extensive inquiries are being carried out and officers are studying CCTV footage in an effort to gather further information. Mr Cunningham was last seen around 11am on Friday and I am anxious to speak to anyone who saw him after this.”
