Four arrested after capital drugs raids
Four people have been arrested and more than £154,000 worth of drugs seized in a series of police raids.
Officers searched a number of properties in Dumbiedykes, in south-east Edinburgh, last week.
A 49-year-old man was arrested when 3kg of cocaine and amphetamine worth £154,000 was discovered in a property in Viewcraig Street last Monday. A replica gun was also seized, along with £400 in cash, Lothian and Borders Police said.
On the same day, officers searched an address in Holyrood Court and found a personal quantity of diazepam. A 28-year-old man was charged with alleged drug offences.
Last Wednesday, a 33-year-old man was found to be in possession of a quantity of cannabis during a stop and search in Viewcraig Gardens. The next day, a personal quantity of cannabis was discovered in a flat in Dumbiedykes Road. A 37-year-old man was charged.
